I am a Registered Drama Therapist and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who believes in the power of transformation. I provide person-centered and strength-based care to individuals, couples, and families who are seeking change. I have experience supporting folks through life transitions, traumatic events, and distressing emotions such as anxiety, depression, anger, and stress. Forming a therapeutic alliance, I support folks in identifying their barriers and help them gain new perspectives that lead to transformation.
I earned my MA in Drama Therapy from New York University and gained clinical experience in New York City working with individuals with persistent mental health issues to reach their personal life role goals. I also have experience working with children with developmental differences and worked to devise and provide therapeutic theatre experiences. I have continued my training in Developmental Transformations (DvT), an embodied improvisational method, and bring this playful expertise into sessions if there is interest. Holding a BFA in Musical Theatre from Western Michigan University, I also utilize music, movement, and art in the therapeutic space. Incorporating these creative modalities alongside traditional talk therapy provides a myriad of possibilities.
Starting therapy with a new therapist may be a daunting process, but I am here to collaborate with you and follow your lead. Let’s work together and maybe even have some fun!
